Goodbye.

I tremble beneath Carter’s touch beside the warm fireplace, and in an instant I feel changed.

I rest my palm on his chest, daring to touch him back, feeling the hard flex of his abs through his shirt and wanting to see more.

Carter’s kiss moves to my neck. I tilt my head, feeling the heat of the fire on my face as his tongue gently tastes my skin. Warm tingles spread across my body, igniting my flesh with goosebumps, making my nipples uncomfortably hard. I squirm against him, his hardness pressing into my belly, and we both gasp in silent pleasure.

Carter opens the top button on my dress. He kisses the newly exposed skin, his tongue traveling the valley between my breasts. My breaths come quicker, my heart racing as he opens the second button. Again, he kisses the new skin with gentle and loving pecks, taking his time before moving to the next button down.

By the time he reaches my navel, my entire body is shaking. I’m throbbing between my thighs, a wet spot forming in my panties. Another button free and he kisses my belly an inch away from the white cotton of my underwear.

Carter looks up at me silently, his eyes begging me to say yes.

I’m not that kind of girl, I hear my own words echo in my ears.
